Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate recently issued its annual review of Washington State wines, including the first ever vintage from Pearl and Stone Wine Co., and we couldn't be more thrilled!
Jeb Dunnuck covers Washington State, among other regions, for The Wine Advocate, and this is what he had to say:
"...Pearl and Stone Wine Co. look to have produced an outstanding (2013) Wandering. Made from 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and a splash of Petit Verdot, it's an upfront, evolved, sexy wine that has lots of kirsch, licorice, toasted spice and vanilla aromas and flavors. I don't think it will make old bones, but it should offer plenty of charm over the coming 3-4 years." 89-91 points
