The 2015 Resolution Peaks is a left bank style, Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend (85%) featuring fruit from Sagemoor's Dionysus Vineyard. The wine shows the Cabernet's vine age with a nose of complex and savory dried herbs, smoke and concentrated, perfumed fruit. The smoothly textured palate echoes with savory herbs with layered, complex fruit of blackberry, cassis, vanilla and baking spices. The fine grained tannins and juicy acidity continue to please as the finish evolves endlessly.
The name "Resolution Peaks" is the name of Big Si and Little Si, the two mountains in view of the winery, and on the left side of the Snoqualmie River. It is our little nod to the left bank wines of Bordeaux.
