Reviews:

Wine Enthusiast: 91 Points, "Cellar Selection"

"Sourced from the Two Blondes vineyard, this is a soft, smooth and toasty blend of 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Cabernet Franc, and 27% Merlot. Its delicious barrel flavors are nicely integrated with its purple fruit. It's buttery-feeling in the mouth, with coffee and toasted nut accents, all bolstered by a firm structure of ripe, slightly grainy tannins. Drink now through 2030."

International Wine Report: 92 Points
"This alluring blend is composed of 42% Cabernet, 31% Cabernet Franc with the remainder Merlot. Having a translucent core, this opens with aromatics of crème de cassis, rose petals, red cherries and red raspberry jam all taking shape. The mouthfeel is plush, showcasing black tea, loganberry and cassis flavors. This is another excellent wine from winemaker Chris Stone. (Best 2017-2027)"

Winemakers' Notes:

The 2015 Wandering is a Bordeaux style red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. All of the fruit comes from Two Blondes Vineyard in Yakima Valley.

The name "Wandering" is a nod to one of the names we considered for our winery, and wanted to dedicate our first wine to that name. Not all who wander are lost...
